## One-line thesis

A subscriptions platform for OMX customers — auto-deliver the things you buy on a clock (paper, ink, coffee, PPE, kitchenware).

## ⚠️ Strategy flag

**Memory note (2026-04-17 OMX Digital Strategy refresh):**

> "Mar 2026 set 3 priorities (Search / Switching / Reorder), **Subscription = NO**. Easy reorder replaces subscription."

That call was made deliberately — the strategy is **easy reorder via Ask Max** instead of subscription contracts. Reorder is more flexible, no lock-in for the customer, and Ask Max handles it conversationally.

**Open question for the deck:**
- Is "subscriptions" being **re-opened** as a strategic option?
- Or is this a deliberately **different** product (e.g., a subscription *service-tier* — premium support / faster delivery — not a product-subscription)?
- Or is this **subscription pricing for OMX's tools** (Ask Max, PPSS, Catalog) sold to other operators (the marketplace play from Ask Max Stage 6)?

**Recommendation: Clarify with Jeff before building.** If it's product-subscriptions for customers, the deck needs to address how it complements (not contradicts) the Mar 2026 "Subscription = NO, easy reorder" decision.

### Angle A — Customer product subscriptions (the rejected one)
Auto-deliver paper / ink / coffee. Conflicts with Mar 2026 strategy.

### Angle B — Service-tier subscription
- Tiered support / delivery / quote access for SMBs
- "OMX Plus" — faster delivery, free quotes, dedicated rep access for $X/mo
- Margin lift via tier mix

### Angle C — Platform-licence subscription (marketplace play)
- Other office-products operators licence Ask Max + PPSS + Catalog from OMX
- This is the Stage 6 marketplace upside on Ask Max
- Subscription = recurring revenue stream

## Layout candidates (once angle is clear)

Standard arc applies. The differentiation slide is the key — versus reorder (Angle A) or versus single-purchase tools (Angles B/C).
